REDMOND, Oregon (KTVZ) – Avelo Airlines announced on Thursday that it is expanding service from Redmond Municipal Airport with a new non-stop service to Las Vegas. Also this Friday at 3:00pm, Avelo will make its first flight from RDM to Sonoma/Santa Rosa, CA.
Avelo will be the only airline offering direct flights from Central Oregon to Harry Reed International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas and Charles M. Schultz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in California’s Wine Country.

With the addition of Las Vegas and the launch of service to Sonoma/Santa Rosa, Avelo will now serve four non-stop destinations from RDM. LAS and STS join Avelo’s services to L.A.’s premier airport, Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) and seasonal Palm Springs.
Avelo’s non-stop service between RDM and Las Vegas will begin on September 7, operating twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays. Starting Friday, Avelo will begin twice-weekly nonstop service between RDM and Sonoma County, operating Mondays and Fridays. Both routes will utilize Boeing’s next-generation 737 aircraft.
